How jev works

1 · Ask
A note and a question become a number “Finally sent off that report. Brain is mush, skipped lunch.” Are they hangry? 0.82 jev’s answer

You write a question about the text. jev reads the text and the time of day and answers with a number between 0 and 1: how likely it is to be true.

2 · Decide
Levers turn numbers into yes, no or not sure, and rules combine them hangry 0.82 would take a waffle 0.48 already eating 0.09 ✓?✗ hangry or waffle and is not already eating ✓ yes

Levers turn each number into yes, no or not sure. Rules combine them in plain words — “and”, “or”, “is not”. Not sure never quietly becomes no.

3 · Route

A yes or no leads to an ending. Not sure asks a follow-up question, adds the answer to the story and asks jev again.

4 · Test
Inputs become tests; changing a word shows what flipped “Starving, skipped lunch” → hangry✓ “Biggest lunch ever” → not hangry✓ “Sandwich in hand” → should be: not hangry✗ 7 / 8 tests pass — same input, same number, every time

Mark what an input should give, and it becomes a test. Every later change — a word, a lever — is checked against all of them. That’s the difference from just asking a chatbot.
